got it
well, the snow came. it started snowing on friday around 2 or so . . . and just stopped sometime this afternoon (sunday). we got at least a foot of snow.now, it's starting to rain and it's getting all slushy in some places and icey in others.
cross your fingers for us for tomorrow. we have to drive to boston. catch a plane. land in seattle. rent a van with our friends (due to an unadvertized airline pet embargo on our connecting flight to pdx) and drive with our dogs down to portland . . . hopefully we will arrive in pdx near 2 am tuesday morning.
then we have to figure out how to get down to keizer to be with our families.
all in snowy, rainy, icey, cold weather.
why do people want white christmases again?
just kidding. the snow was beautiful!
even though it claimed my cell phone.
that's right. i dropped my phone (unknowingly) in the snow. it's dead. gone. along with all my phone numbers. all my photos. everything.
so, before heading to boston tomorrow, i get to brave the mall and try to get a new one. boo. maybe i will wait til i get to oregon and do it there?
