happy earth day!
happy earth day y'all!consider walking somewhere you may normally drive to.
turn off the faucett while you brush your teeth.
buy something local.
turn off lights while you aren't in the room.
play outside.
plant a tree.
check the air in your tires.
tune up your bike.
use canvas bags when you shop instead of paper or plastic.
hang your clothes out to dry instead of putting them in the dryer.
change your lightbulbs to those super great energy efficient ones that can last for like 11 years.
wipe your butt with recycled toilet paper.
yeah i said it. butt.
pick one thing off this list and do it today to celebrate the wonderful, amazing, not as green as it used to be earth that sustains us.
what an awesome orb we live on and destroy.

sick
jon got his first tics today. as in IN HIS BODY!!! i was soooo grossed out.hudson has had them several times and we just pull them out and he is fine . . . but to SEE them in jon's skin! moving around! ew!!!
anyway, they were at an angle where he couldn't pull them out himself . . . so I had to do it.
gross.
sadly, they WERE deer tics, so he is at risk of having contracted lime's disease (there are several kinds of tics here, but deer tics are the ones that spread the disease). there is really nothing we can do except to keep an eye out for the symptoms . . . glad he has health insurance. keep his health in your thoughts - esp since he is finishing up his semester this month!
wow, can't believe he is almost done.

truth
a friend of mine just sent me an email venting about how people never tell the truth. they always pretend things are fine and tell you what they think you want to hear. and when you try to be honest with them, they get upset and uncomfortable with the truth . . . why is that?say it don't spray it 8:27 PM
