they play softball in alaska, too!

so things have been good here . . . the sun has been shining for the past few days . . . we really appreciate that. it was pretty nice yesterday, so we took the dogs to sandy beach so they could run and swim and eat nasty things. all of these things, they did.
last weekend, dylan and jon took the dogs camping. i didn't go because i
wasn't feeling well. and in alaska it could have been
dangerous. :) (if you click on the links you'll see why its funny). it was hudson's first time camping and from what i hear, i don't think he liked it. he complained a lot and couldn't get comfortable while everyone was sitting around the campfire. he paced around the tent and wouldn't sleep until jon let him out of the tent. he slept right outside the door of the tent all night. he was soooo cranky in the morning and didn't feel well because he drank a lot of the ocean the day before . . . i don't think he could figure out why they weren't going home when it got dark. anyway, they came home in the morning and hudson proceeded to drink 2 bowls full of water. peed like crazy and later . . . well his poop was less than solid. he layed around for like 2 days and now he feels better. hopefully he will get used to camping. cause i have a feeling it will happen a lot more this summer. we've decided he is actually a big cat. while they were sitting around the campfire a whale surfaced three times . . . not more than 50 yards from them! i wish i was there . . . amazing!
anyway, while the boys were gone, deborah and kayla came over to spend the night and we ate cookie dough and unabashedly watched
TITANIC. all of it. i made fun of it. but inside, it moved me. :)
so, massage is slowly getting off the ground . . . and by that i mean, i am pretty bored during the day when everyone else is at work. i am still applying for second jobs . . . i just want to be useful and not lame.
last night, we went and watched deborah's double header softball game! her team won. and they aren't very good - she'll tell you that. but it was a lot of fun! and who plays softball this close to a glacier? (you can see it in the background of this picture):

we'll we're all safe and happy here. trying to make money so we can afford school and life the other 9 months of the year. let us know if you want a postcard!
