the best things in life . . .
. . . are good friends.since we've been in providence (aug 24th) we have received the following from our good friends and family back home:
post cards
emails
phone calls
two pounds of stumptown coffee
plane tickets to go to a wedding
pirate galoshes
some compilation cds
plane tickets home for christmas
a pirate calendar for 2008
an ENTIRE CASE OF TWO BUCK CHUCK (wine, for those of you who aren't familiar with Trader Joe's)
a CD from and by the amazing singer-songwriter and all-time-extraordinarily-good-friend, Jacob White
and SEVERAL visitors
i'm sure there has been more, but that's what came to mind at the moment. we are so blessed to have such good friends even though we are so far away from them and are SO BAD at keeping in touch with them.
