hey friends.my birthday was AWESOME!!!
camping on the beach was perfect. the weather was gorgeous. i'm just glad i fell asleep before everyone decided it would be a good idea to play football. on the beach. in the dark.
my friend j has a sprained elbow. it's green and twice the size of normal.
on the way home from the beach my friend jake called us and said he was stuck in seattle (because he had missed his flight home from alaska). so we drove allllllll night to pick him up. it was GREAT to see him! i hugged that kids neck so hard! we got back to portland by 4am. slept until 8am. and then took jake to breakfast before the husband had to drive him back to seattle to catch his new flight to arizona.
best birthday present ever.
second to that was the present that the husband gave me. a 30 gig ipod. you can watch movies on this thing!
