oh the beauty of randomness (and wrinkles)!
i saw my first trailor for pirates of the caribbean 2 yesterday . . . me so excited!did i tell you that my friend laura got to open for denison witmer when he was here in concert a few weeks ago? one of the best shows. ever. hands down.
i finally watched "memiors of a geisha" last weekend (with keith . . . the couchsurfer/road tripper extraordinaire). i liked it . . . but i was superpissed (yes, that is one word) at the effing baron.
saw "goodnight and goodluck" a while ago and it gave me chills it was SO GOOD!
did i mention that "crash" is an intensly amazing flick as well (while we are on the subject of films. and yes, i mean "we" -- you and i -- )?
took a midnight road trip to olympia saturday night (got there at 4am . . .). went with my friend brian from high school who was visiting from montana, our friend dan and his girlfriend . . . fun times and no sleep to be had by all . . .
completely missed out on participating in a day without an immigrant. blast.
finally got to go to my sister's varsity softball game (AWESOME game!! they lost by 1 point in superdoublequadrupleovertime!) and my other sister's little league game (where my sister told me that they serve ice cream in heaven forever).
and . . . dun dun DUN!!!!
i discovered that i have my. first. wrinkle!!
I AM NOT EVEN 25 YEARS OLD YET HERE PEOPLE!!!!
it is by the right corner of my mouth and doesn't go away when i relax. no, it is not a dimple. not one of those lines that appear on your forehead when you raise you eyebrows. but an honest to god wrinkle.
i saw it and said to my husband, "i have a wrinkle."
"i know," he replied, "i saw it earlier this week. it's what you get for smiling so much all the time."
"what are we gonna do?!?!?! (((i am aware of how ridiculous this question sounds))). should we name it?" i ask. "have a ritual or ceremony to welcome it into our family?"
"sure," he says.
so what does a wrinkle ritual look like? any ideas?
