what do yoda, aslan and laura ingals wilder have in common?
so, with all this hype about episode III, i thought i'd chime in and discuss my favorite part about the film. truth be told, i haven't seen it. but my husband did and he told me some about it. my favorite part so far was that he told me that he saw a preview for "the lion the witch and the wardrobe" being released in the theatres in december (click
here,
here, or on the title of this blog for more info)!
you can watch the trailer
here.
if you know me very well at all or have read my blogger profile, you will know that i quite enjoy anything by c.s. lewis (my favorite being
"till we have faces." go. read it now. you wont be able to put it down). i have also been dissapointed so far with how the narnia series has been rendered on the screen. the animated version and the bbc adaptation were sufficient when i was 7, but now that i've seen what they can do with lewis' contemporary tolkein's work and the current day screen adaptations of harry potter, i have three words to say about this new undertaking: it's. about. time.
ok, so two words and a contraction, but still. you get the picture.
what was your favorite book series as a kid? i promise that i wont make fun of you if you say the
"little house on the prarie" books.
