shamless plug for myself
so i have a piece of art in a show at the SE urban grind all this month. it is a clear glass mosaic over a charcoal drawing that i did. the theme of the show has to do with the spirituality of suffering and my peice was inspired by many women that i know that are battling cancer and other enemies within their own bodies.the first day of the month is today . . . sooooo, you've got 29 more opportunitites to get over there and take a look at it.
if you are there when The Mack is working (curly haired guy with tatoos all over his arms) i recommend making friends with him. he rocks. and he does a great job of remembering my 'usual' (licorice peppermint tea--awesome).
